Job title: Export Documentation Operator

 

Report to Export Manager,

Based in Auckland, New Zealand

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for arranging and completing all associated export paperwork, cooperate with other parties to ensure it’s all legal and legitimate,data Entry and processing of data in system
  • Keep effective and efficient communication with team members and other departments to ensure the smooth of workflow.
  • Request Shipping Instruction from customers via email and submit the SLI to Shipping line within same day
  • After received draft BL from Shipping line, send BL draft for customer to check
  • Follow up with Shipping line if any amendment
  • Prepare shipping certificate and review clauses, if any
  • Ensure the details on BL are correct.
  • Provide customer service with professional manner, be able to provide solutions.
  • Print/Send final BLs and invoices for customer collection
  • Report to import manager on regular basis, provide facts and suggestions on the clients’/shipping lines’ feedback, workload and workflow, etc.
  • Work with positive ‘can-do’ attitude and also with commercial sense.

 

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • International trade/Shipping/logistics industry knowledge
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Fast and accurate processing skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Fluent in writing Mandarin and English.
  • Able to work under pressure, ability to meet deadline

  • Keep effective and efficient communication with team members and other departments to ensure the smooth of workflow.
  • Be able to negotiate with suppliers and manage to deal with difficult situations in order to meet timescales. (e.g., cut-off, special requirement)
  • Provide customer service with professional manner, be able to provide solutions.
  • Report to import manager on regular basis, provide facts and suggestions on the clients’/suppliers’ feedback, workload and workflow, etc.
  • Work with positive ‘can-do’ attitude and also with commercial sense.

 

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • International trade/Shipping/logistics industry knowledge
  • Good & Clear communication skills, both written and oral.
  • EDI Cargowise knowledge a plus
  • Import Operations – Predominantly Sea freight with some air freight.
  • Good documentation skills including knowledge of INCO Terms.
  • Problem solving skills solving, ability to work under pressure of tight time constraints
  • Fast and accurate processing skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good geographical knowledge, both global and locally.
